Dr. Helen H. Yu has been named a 2025 ScholarGPS® Highly Ranked Scholar™, a prestigious designation that honors researchers who rank within the top 0.05% worldwide based on lifetime achievement and significant impact in their respective fields.
In the past five years, Dr. Yu ranks #1 among 4,220 scholars (top 0.01%) globally in law enforcement and #2 among 9,651 scholars (top 0.02%) in exploratory data analysis. Over the course of her career, she ranks #2 among 10,915 scholars (top 0.01%) worldwide in law enforcement and #5 among 20,719 scholars (top 0.02%) in exploratory data analysis.
The 2025 ScholarGPS® list includes nearly 60 distinguished faculty members and researchers from the University of Hawaiʻi, including those at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.
